Eknayi Disshaa Gurukul Foundation serves senior citizens with love, respect, and hands-on support rooted in Indian tradition.Who We Are

Ek Nayi Disha Gurukul Foundation is a registered NGO committed to creating meaningful social impact through compassion-driven initiatives.

Founded by Dr. Jiggnna Desai, our mission is to bring hope, dignity, and support to the underprivileged, especially senior citizens, orphaned children, and children in need of education.

Eknayi Disshaa Gurukul Foundation is a legally registered not-for-profit organization, incorporated as a Section 8 Company under the provisions of the Companies Act, with its registration dated 16th March 2021.

The foundation is committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical governance while working towards social welfare and community development.

To strengthen its credibility and provide confidence to donors, partners, volunteers, and corporate organizations, the foundation has obtained the following registrations and certifications:

  • Section 8 Company Registration – Recognized as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to social causes.

  • 12A Registration – Eligible for income tax exemption as per the Income Tax Act.

  • 80G Certification – Donations made to the foundation are eligible for tax benefits, subject to applicable laws.

  • CSR Eligibility – Eligible to receive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions from companies.

  • NITI Aayog NGO Darpan Registration – Registered with the Government of India's NGO Darpan portal, enabling collaboration with government and institutional initiatives.

  • ISO Certification – Demonstrating the organization's commitment to quality management, efficient processes, and continuous improvement.

These registrations reflect the foundation's dedication to operating with integrity, legal compliance, and responsible governance while creating a meaningful social impact across India through charitable initiatives, senior citizen welfare, child education, women empowerment, and community development.

Our foundation actively works to:

  • Sponsor education for underprivileged children

  • Help orphan children with essentials, care, and emotional support

  • Organize food distribution drives

OUR VISION

At Eknayi Disshaa Gurukul Foundation, our mission is to serve humanity through compassion, dignity, and meaningful action by reaching those who need support the most.

We are committed to:

  • Supporting senior citizens and old age homes by providing care, companionship, food, essential supplies, healthcare awareness, and recognition through initiatives that restore dignity and respect.

  • Helping orphaned and underprivileged children by supporting their education, nutrition, personal development, and creating opportunities for a brighter future.

  • Empowering single women, widows, and women from economically weaker backgrounds through encouragement, recognition, skill development, and opportunities for self-reliance.

  • Organizing regular charity drives across India, including food distribution (Annadan), grocery distribution, clothing drives, educational support, medical assistance, and relief activities for families in need.

  • Promoting Kanya Bhojan and Kanya Pujan to encourage respect, care, and empowerment of the girl child.

  • Creating platforms that celebrate and inspire society through initiatives such as the Women's Achievers Award, Varisth Sitare Samman, and the International Occult Science Summit.

  • Building a strong network of volunteers, Gurukul Club members, donors, and CSR partners across India and around the world to expand our reach and serve more lives.
